Job Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with the AML/ CFT requirements.
- Regular assessment of the AML/ CFT mechanism such that it is effective and sufficient to address any change in ML/ TF trends.
- Daily monitoring of all accounts of Hap Seng Credit (HSC) for cash threshold limit and irregular payments that trigger Red Flags.
- Investigate and prepare STR (Suspicious Transaction Report) for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
- To ensure On-Going Due Diligence of all accounts and all HSC staff due for review are done timely.
- Prepare and plan training program for new joiners and existing staff.
- To prepare and collect data for report (Data Compliance Report) to BNM.
- To review and recommend system requirement to capture complete and accurate data for reporting purposes.
- To support Business Centers appointed Compliance Officers.
- To review existing AMLA documents e.g. CDD/ EDD to comply to changes.
- Act as a liaison to Group Compliance in relation to PDPA and any other compliance matters.
- To identify overall inefficiencies, improve compliance, and strengthen operational processes.
- To develop and implement policies and practices necessary for the Company to meet its obligations under the PDPA.
- To develop compliance program to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of management controls/ SOPs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field. Candidates with AMLA certified e.g. Certified Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism Compliance Officer (CAMCO) or any other related certification will be an added advantage.
- Candidates must possess more than 3 years of working experience, preferably with background on AML/ CFT compliance functions or risk management or in audit or security documentation where strict compliance to T&C is required.
- Possess ability to read and interpret documents such as BNM Policy Documents, government regulations, internal controls, and instruction manuals, including Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 or AMLA 2001.
- Able to interact with team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to provide training to staff.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of an Anti-Money Laundering program within the company.
- 1 full-time position is available at Menara Hap Seng, KL.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday : 9.00am to 6.00pm
Friday : 9.00am to 5.30pm
Alternate Saturday : 9.00am to 12.30pm
