Job Description:
- Supplier Development & Management: Identify and build strong relationships with new and existing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services with consistent quality and quantity. Conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Procurement Planning: Develop and adjust procurement plans based on production needs and market demand, including setting item specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Monitor market trends and supplier production status.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Negotiate prices with suppliers, find cost-saving opportunities, and track expenses. Conduct regular cost analyses and propose strategies for reducing costs.
- Quality Control & Inspection: Ensure procured materials meet quality standards by working with the quality management team to develop and implement inspection plans. Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate their performance regularly.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead the team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently by setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance. Collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Market Analysis & Forecasting: Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, raw material prices, and regulations. Provide insights to support procurement decisions.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher from an accredited institution.
- Major in Electromechanical Engineering or related fields.
- 10 years and above experience in related industry.
