Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP of Precision Engineering & Fabrication SBG in the business development, product development and merger and acquisition functions within the Precision Engineering & Fabrication Group
  • Play an integral role in new business pitches, enhancing current accounts and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients towards achieving sales targets and SBG KPI.
  • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through formulation and driving of effective Sales & Marketing Plan and Strategies (short, mid & long-term) to grow local and overseas businesses
  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Act as the lead point of contact between the customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
  • Managing account activities with assigned customers and ensure successful sales closure with strong and long-term customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute business related events.
  • Prepare Business Plans, sales lead presentation, management sales related reports and documents for purpose of sales activities (include quotation, proposals, etc.).
  • Ability to conduct market research and perform analysis.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 - 5 years of sales and marketing experience in Medical / Healthcare / Renewable Energy / Semi-con.
  • Candidates with technical sales and regional / international business development experience would be highly desired.
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Business Development and display an attitude that is key to success
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs preferably from mechanical engineering solutions environment.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
  • Flexible to travel within the country or overseas.
  • Highly self-motivated
