Assistant Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Management Reporting (MR) team in daily operations
  • Assist in auditing matters for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Review and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee balance sheet management and general ledger (GL) monitoring
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects, process improvements, and Kaizen initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy (Professional Qualification/ACCA preferred)
  • 5-6 years of accounting experience
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience (managing juniors)
  • Strong knowledge of Full Set Accounting
  • Proficient in financial statement analysis
  • Experience in preparing audit reports
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Macro
  • Strong communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken)
