Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager with extensive experience in interior fit-out works, carpentry, MEP and steel works. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical drawings, and cost control to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and oversee interior fit-out projects from inception to completion.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of carpentry, MEP and steel work activities on-site.
• Interpret and review technical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and manage expectations.
• Oversee procurement of materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement strong cost control measures, track project expenses, and prepare financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, specifically in interior fit-out, carpentry, M&E and steel works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to use CAD and/or sketch up software will be a bonus
Working Conditions:
• Office and on-site work environment.
• Ability to travel to Singapore and/or overseas for projects. Able to relocate for overseas projects for 3 months or longer.
