Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the head of the branch, the job holder takes full responsibility for HR and
Admin Management, as well as coordination between head office HR & Admin; Legal;
Finance; IT; and other teams to support local office activities and growth, in accordance with
company guidelines.
- Develop, propose and implement HR and Admin policies and procedures to ensure
effective and efficient personnel and office management in compliance with local labor
laws, and HR/Admin related vendor requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with the HR/Admin team and other key counterparts such as
Legal team, Finance team, General Management Office, etc. in Shanghai head office.
- Act as the primary contact person of general legal/public/government affairs and
coordinate through local business manager and functions related in head office.
- Recruit candidates based on evolving business needs and in line with approved hiring
processes by utilizing appropriate recruitment resources and agencies.
- Plan and execute onboarding and offboarding tasks.
- Payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner for all employees.
- Arrange company and employee insurances.
- Leave & attendance management.
- Plan and coordinate company/employee events.
- Maintain positive employee morale and ensure labor compliance with local laws.
- In charge of office rental, renovation, environment, safety, culture visuals.
- Purchase and manage office equipment & supplies.
- Prepare documentations for visa application for employees, if necessary and support with
organizing transportation, accommodation, etc. for team or visitors.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree.
- At least 8 years of HR generalist and office administration experience, preferably with 0
to 1 office set-up experience. In-house legal and government affairs experience is an
advantage.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced and cross-cultural work environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and a good team player.
- High level of independency, a great problem-solver and hands-on mentality.
- Sense of urgency and timelines.
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral English, a plus if fluent in Chinese.
- Highly self-motivated and organized person to plan, execute and manage things.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
