Job Responsibilities
- To assist the Senior Relationship Manager or Section Head to:
- Engage in sales and marketing activities;
- Manage existing clients’ relationship to ensure sound credit standing of client; and
- Generate revenues of the Bank.
- Engage in credit appraisal and review process.
- To ensure the submission of annual review, variation and internal reports on timely manner.
- Weekly / monthly (where applicable) upkeep of loan processing and tracking reports.
- Plan and conduct periodic clients’ meeting and site visits to understand the clients’ business activities and key risk areas, followed by site visit report.
- Maintain contacts with other banks and ICBC Group for potential business opportunities.
- Observe and be conversant with local legal and regulatory requirements that are relevant to the department’s operations.
- Involve & encourage cross selling activity in order to enhance the bank’s profitability. To work closely with other departments and branches of the Bank to achieve common goals of the Bank.
- To ensure strict compliance of the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, other regulators and ICBC Head Office’s Policy, Procedure and Manual issued from time to time.
- Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in the day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university. Possesses with professional credit certification such as PCC, CCE, BCP or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience in corporate banking business of banking/ financial institutions.
- Strong business acumen and results oriented.
- Customer-service oriented and innovation.
- Strong credit and marketing knowledge.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- PC literate preferably in Windows Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, etc).
- Good communication skills in English and/or Mandarin (both verbal and written).
