Individuals who are highly motivated to join our team to provide effective testing to our systems and ensure the functionality works correctly before it is released to our customer.
QA Tester responsibilities include designing and implementing tests and defining corrective actions to assure system met the quality standards. He / she must be experience in web and/or mobile application testing; preparation and production of test beds; preparation of test scripts. The QA role plays an important part in development process.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand project requirements to define appropriate test scenarios.
- Develop and document test cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage for both web and mobile applications.
- Execute test plans and record test results, including validation of software deployment processes and documentation.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects, providing detailed feedback to the development team to support root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system workflows and assist in debugging issues.
- Perform manual regression and end-to-end testing to maintain software stability across releases.
- Conduct functional testing to verify that application features function as expected.
- Prepare release documentation, including release notes and deployment checklists.
- Assist and provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before system deployment.
- Possess basic knowledge of MySQL to validate database-related functionalities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, with minimum 2 years of software testing and release management experience
- Experience in testing web-based software and mobile application
- Experience with defect tracking tool such as JIRA and ability to report clear and effective bugs
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good learning attitude and strong mindset on personal development
- Independent in problem solving and analysis
- Good interpersonal skill, excellent service attitude
