Senior Executive, Quality Risk Management
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to ensuring smooth operations of the Quality & Risk Management. He / She shall be responsible for monitoring accreditation cycles and processes (MSQH), quality improvement initiatives, risk management and workplace health & safety, process and system development and protocols and guidelines and any other related QRM and administrative duties as assigned by the superior. Compile, process, and maintain hospital data in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, and ethical. Report all the activities hospital to MOH and to the board of management.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Management
- Collection of Clinical Data and Clinical Indicators
- Verification of Data and Indicators
- Serious Reportable Event Reporting
- Data Tracking and Analysis
- Red Flagging
- Benchmarking with national and international standards
- Reporting to MOH
2. Clinical Governance and Effectiveness Standards
- Plan and facilitate clinical guidelines, SOPs and internal processes
- Plan and facilitate various Quality Improvement Project
3. Clinical Audit
- Plan, facilitate and conduct internal audit
- Feedback to department based on audit findings
- Keep track of audits of all clinical departments
4. Education and Training
- Conduct/facilitate training on QRM topics like Incident Reporting & RCA.
5. Patient Safety Walk
- Arrange, coordinate, and conduct regular walks through the clinical areas to identify risks/gap in practices.
6. Quality Improvement Projects
- Identify areas for improvement through red flags in clinical indicators, audits and incident management.
- Lead or manage and facilitate quality improvement projects to develop solutions through Q projects.
7. Incident Report Review
- Review Incident Reports & manage the flow together with HOD.
- Keep record of all meetings and reviews and report and close the loop with respective HODs and management.
8. Hospital Quality Assurance committees
- Coordinate and conduct QRMRD committee meeting.
- Keep records of all meetings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quality and Productivity Improvement / Science/ Healthcare or related healthcare field
- Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in a hospital setting.
- Good management and organizational skills.
- Strong computer literature.
- Able to work independently at all levels.
- Good interpersonal skills in English & Malay with an ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders which include consultants, client representatives, staff etc.
- A person who is meticulous, detailed-oriented and result driven.
- A person who is knowledgeable, and flexible, display confidence, positive thinker, has high discipline, is cooperative with full of being responsible, is reliable, and has high integrity.
