Job Responsibilities
- To identify opportunities within the existing customer base and prospect names for appropriate solutions and suite of products covering Trade Financing, Risk Participation and Supply Chain Finance, supporting all customer segments of the Bank (Financial Institutions (“FIs”), Government Linked Companies (“GLCs), China/ Foreign/ Local Corporations).
- Responsible to manage Bank revenues and volumes though working with relationship managers/ branch managers/ and lending units.
- Manage clients’ relationship and develop solutions through regular account planning discussions, and presenting account plans and strategies to management.
- Prepares, proposes and evaluates credit applications and proposals as well as negotiates and offered packages based on appropriate risk management procedures to ensure that the Bank’s interest is protected.
- Track progress and report of business progress to Head of Department, with constructive suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness on deliverable and targets.
- Keep abreast of the competitive products and marketing strategies.
- Observe and be conversant with legal and regulatory requirements that are relevant to the department’s operations.
- To ensure strict compliance of the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”), other regulators and ICBC Head Office’s Policy, Procedure and Manual (“PPM”) issued from time to time.
- Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
- Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor degree in finance, banking, accounting or equivalent from a reputable university. Possesses with professional credit certification such as PCC, CCE, BCP or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of working experience in trade finance marketing or financial institutions business banking.
- Strong business acumen and results oriented.
- Customer-service oriented and innovation.
- Strong credit and marketing knowledge.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- PC literate preferably in Windows Microsoft Office (e.g. Words, Excel, etc)
- Good communication skills in English and/or Mandarin (both verbal and written).
