JOB DESCRIPTIONOur rapid growth has led to our exciting expansion in the North American market! We are now looking for a Technical Solution Engineer with excellent communication skills who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in CDN/cloud industry. You will be a part of a professional, customer-facing team who works with users and administrators of CDNetworks Inc.’s products, product developers, testers consultants, pre-sales, and sales consultants. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for customer success and technology as they will be the focal point in providing high-quality 24/7 technical support to customers of CDN service, which is a large, distributed SaaS cloud offering in over 300 locations around the world. The Technical Solution Engineer is a Full-Time position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.ROLE & RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Be the first point of contact for our customers and provide first-class customer service: troubleshooting complex web and networking issues 24/7.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate problem resolution.
  • Manage the status of resolution for all support cases, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate customer needs to suggest upgrades or additional features.
  • Record and maintain knowledge collected from each issue in a central location.
  • Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Malaysians only
  • Required language(s): English
  • Must be able to work in rotating shifts 24x7 (12-working-hours)
  • Open to fresh graduates with a degree in an IT/Computer Science-related field
  • Prior internship experience in an IT-related role is a plus - troubleshooting/customer-facing role
  • Good understanding of technical concepts such as CDN, DNS, HTTP, DDoS, TCP/IP etc
  • Basic knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals
