We are just beginning our expansion into the Malaysian market and are looking for dynamic individuals to join us as Business Development Executives. In this role, you will work closely with the CEO to drive ByteHR’s growth strategy in Malaysia, contributing to the success of our regional expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with the CEO to develop and execute strategies for ByteHR’s entry into the Malaysian market.
  • Drive lead generation through outbound cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Represent ByteHR at industry events to expand our network and build brand awareness.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and requirement gathering sessions with potential clients.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy along with CEO to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, providing regular reports and forecasts to the CEO.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, business opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve quality of inbound lead generation campaigns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and seamless client onboarding.

Skills & Experience - What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years in a business development or sales role, preferably in SaaS or technology.
  • Ability to work closely with senior leadership, particularly the CEO, in shaping growth strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Strong ability to connect with individuals and build long-term relationships.
  • Proactive approach to overcoming challenges and handling objections in sales processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Hubspot) is a plus.
