JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Climate Risk Management
- Develop and update climate risk-related policies, procedures, and frameworks in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct climate risk scenario analysis and stress testing to assess the impact on the bank’s operations and portfolio.
- Design, distribute, and analyze climate risk due diligence questionnaires to assess exposure and preparedness across different business units.
- Develop and promote green financial products to support the bank’s sustainability and climate risk mitigation objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on climate risk findings for internal and external stakeholders.
Integrated Risk Management
- Support the Risk Management Committee by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct integrated stress testing to evaluate the bank’s resilience against a range of risk factors.
- Prepare the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) report to meet regulatory requirements.
- Compile and present Integrated risk management reports, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and mitigation strategies.
- Execute other risk management-related tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, with a focus on risk management.
- Strong analytical and data processing skills, with proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Python, SPSS, or R.
- Proven ability to handle large datasets, conduct quantitative analysis, and interpret results effectively.
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to climate risk and comprehensive risk management is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset with a keen interest in emerging risks and industry trends.
- Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
