Overview: The role will lead the execution and planning of IT roadmap and enterprise architecture, aligning it with the organization’s overall business strategy. This role includes establishing Architecture Governance & Solution Design Practice, Cloud Centre of Excellence, Platform Delivery and Infrastructure Engineering execution and operation model.

Responsibilities:

1. Future-Proofing IT

  • Design and document To-Be Enterprise Architecture aligned with the Company’s business strategy.
  • Leverage technology innovations and recommend cost-effective solutions through POCs.
  • Update architectural requirements based on industry trends and best practices.
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and evaluate sustainable vendor solutions.
  • Organize training to upskill the IT team in emerging technologies like Cloud, AI, and DevOps.

2. Enterprise Architecture (EA) Governance

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the Company’s Enterprise Architecture Governance Framework in alignment with Group standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all Enterprise Architecture review sessions in-country and regionally.
  • Manage exception requests, ensuring alignment with Group standards and stakeholder approvals.
  • Address technology obsolescence by creating actionable business cases.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Recommend and implement scalable, reusable, and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Participate in key IT committees (e.g., IT Risk, Security, and Steering).
  • Continuously refine governance processes to address evolving business needs.

3. Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Develop and drive solution architecture blueprints for applications, data, security, and infrastructure pillars.
  • Establish architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align solution specifications with business needs and current technology.
  • Guide strategic technology investments to maximize long-term business value.
  • Lead the architecture team in defining scalable and reusable business-driven solutions.
  • Represent the Company in Group Cloud Steering Committees to align with overall cloud strategies.
  • Ensure the scalability, stability, and maintenance of existing IT systems.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Experiences:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 10-12 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Extensive familiarity with Financial Services and the Insurance industry, particularly in aligning IT solutions with strategic goals.
  • Proven track record in managing teams, IT strategies, and large-scale cross-functional projects.
  • Expertise in IT strategic planning, governance formulation, and change management with exposure to budget planning and organizational strategies

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of digital technologies such as Cloud, AI, and DevOps, with proven experience in steering complex IT solutions.

Communication and Leadership:

  • Exceptional influencing, consultation, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of fostering strong relationships with senior leaders and external partners.
