Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with BookXcess' brand identity and business goals.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, videos, and graphics) across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to enhance engagement and reach.
- Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and build a strong online community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote new book releases, store openings, and special promotions.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content strategies based on insights.
Events Planning & Execution
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging in-store and online events, including book launches, author signings, reading sessions, and community workshops.
- Coordinate with authors, publishers, partners, and vendors to create memorable experiences.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and marketing promotions.
- Develop event promotional materials and leverage digital channels for maximum outreach.
- Ensure smooth on-ground execution and customer engagement during events.
- Track event performance and generate post-event reports to evaluate success and areas for improvement.
Collaboration & Brand Building
- Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to align campaigns with business objectives.
- Build relationships with influencers, bloggers, and media to increase brand visibility.
- Drive partnerships with schools, libraries, and communities to promote reading culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social media management, event planning, or marketing (preferably in retail or lifestyle industries).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and engagement strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and event management software.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Passion for books, literature, and fostering a reading community is a plus.

- The candidate may be required to be on-site at our events and long hours.
