Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Shell scripting for automating operational tasks and system maintenance.
Solid experience in application support, including troubleshooting production issues, system monitoring, and log analysis.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, as the role will involve extensive work with these environments.
Good understanding of system-level processes and infrastructure monitoring tools.
Experience with databases and basic SQL queries to troubleshoot issues and validate data.
Nice-to-Have:
Exposure to Java 8 for debugging or troubleshooting Java-based applications.​

We are looking for a skilled L2 Production Support Engineer with strong expertise in Shell Scripting to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing application support, troubleshooting issues, and automating tasks to enhance production environments. If you have a passion for solving complex problems in a high-paced environment and enjoy optimizing application performance through scripting, this could be the role for you.

Provide production support for critical applications, ensuring the continuous operation of the systems.
Monitor application performance and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate routine tasks, such as log monitoring, system health checks, and data backup.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level and application issues related to performance, uptime, and data consistency.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement long-term solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Work with other teams (DevOps, development, and infrastructure) to ensure smooth deployment, maintenance, and support of production environments.
Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, scripts, and support activities.
Respond to and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions for optimization.
Assist in the deployment of application updates and patches in the production environment.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
