In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions that optimize service delivery across IT systems and processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve IT service management processes, with a particular focus on CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and Control-M automation tools. What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions for IT service management (ITSM), leveraging tools like Control-M and CMDB.

Automate service-related processes, including scheduling, execution, and monitoring of jobs across various environments using Control-M.

Integrate Control-M with other IT tools and platforms to enable seamless service workflows and reduce manual intervention.

Work closely with the CMDB team to ensure accurate, up-to-date configuration data and automate synchronization between Control-M and CMDB systems.

Develop and maintain automated workflows for incident, problem, and change management within ITSM frameworks.

Collaborate with IT operations teams to automate system monitoring, alerts, and remediation actions.

Improve and optimize service automation processes to ensure maximum efficiency, reduced errors, and improved service uptime.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for resolving automation-related issues.

Create documentation for automation solutions, including technical specifications, procedures, and workflows.

Engage with stakeholders to define automation requirements, develop solutions, and provide ongoing support.
