Must Have:
6+ years of experience in service automation, monitoring, and performance management, with a strong background in Splunk and ITRS Geneos Gateway Configuration.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Splunk for monitoring, log aggregation, and performance analysis.
Strong experience configuring and managing ITRS Geneos Gateway, including integrating it with other monitoring tools and IT systems.
Proficiency in writing automation scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate monitoring and performance tasks.
Familiarity with monitoring best practices, such as thresholds, alerts, and proactive performance monitoring.
Experience integrating monitoring systems with ITSM tools for incident management and automation.
Understanding of databases and SQL for troubleshooting and optimizing monitoring solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
Implement and maintain service automation processes to streamline IT service management workflows and reduce manual intervention.
Leverage Splunk to monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring systems are optimized and running efficiently.
Configure, manage, and optimize ITRS Geneos Gateway for real-time monitoring and proactive issue resolution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement automated monitoring solutions tailored to business needs and IT requirements.
Analyze monitoring data and performance metrics, generating reports and alerts to ensure system reliability.
Create and maintain automation scripts and workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce human error in service operations.
Develop dashboards and visualizations using Splunk to provide actionable insights into system performance and application health.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to service automation tools, ensuring quick recovery and minimal impact on business operations.
Support the integration of automation systems with ITSM and other monitoring tools for seamless performance management.
Continuously improve and optimize existing automation workflows and monitoring processes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination in the implementation of automation initiatives across the organization.
