
Senior Analyst, Finance (ANL Chartering & Pool)
Job Description
This position is overall responsible for accounting processes, to ensure accurate and timely submission of reports and deliverables to ensure group responsibilities are attained, to ensure harmonious working relationship between group members and with stakeholders and assist.
Reporting to the manager and close coordination with, Sg. Operation &HO operation, you will be responsible for the O2C, P2P and GL posting including monthly close of group management reports, ensure timely and accurate monthly accounting and reporting, play a supporting role in group corporate finance.
Establish rapport and credibility with Business Units Heads and provide consistent support as an integral component of business plan.
Job Responsibilities
- O2C - Ensure financial terms of the billings are aligned with clauses prepared in accordance to agreement signed by partners. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to aging balances and payments. To resolve variances if there is dispute.
- P2P- Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time, and that all processes comply with company policies; include vendor set up, validating bank details, and monitor expiry/extension/revision of vendor agreement. Submit weekly payment forecast to treasury team.
- Ensure month end accruals are duly taken up for operation activities in line with Group’s standard operating policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules for group management team
- Perform trending and variance analysis review
- Responsible of maintain and oversee day to day operations of the vessels. Ensure completeness of deliverables prior submission to internal, external stakeholders.
- Work closely with shipping partners on accounting and financial matters
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor in Economics and Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2 - 3 years relevant working experiences in Accounting / Finance.
- Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office, e.g. MS Excel.
- Proficiency in accounting applications, SAP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to deal effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills.
- Problem solving skills.
