Responsibilities and Key Outcomes
- Work in a team with experienced data scientists, data & software engineers & product owners and create scalable, reusable and performant data-driven applications running in productive environments
- Translate the collected business requirements into technical concepts, especially regarding the data engineering, data products and data architecture frameworks.
- Drive the sustainable implementation of our new GenAI-oriented Supply Chain Intelligence platform, including:
- Data integration for various Supply Chain AI solutions,
- Utilizing enterprise data product, semantic and ontology concepts,
- GenAI functionalities.
- Create product requirement documents and maintain it in an agile working mode, e. g. in Azure DevOps boards and tasks.
- Work in an international and agile DevOps environment and apply agile principles for setting priorities and managing multiple stakeholders in a challenging business environment.
- Share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues and promoting a culture of data-driven innovation within the organization
Job Requirements
Education and work experience
- A bachelor or master's in information technology, software engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or other data-centric disciplines
- At least 3-4 years of experience working in information technology/supply chain analytics
- Familiar with agile development processes
- Actively communicate with teams and solving problems
Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)
- At least 2 years of data engineering / data science experience
- scoping data-driven solution and creating a roadmap for functions.
- utilizing Microsoft Azure cloud components for ML and Data Science, eg. Databricks.
- Developing data pipelines.
- Hand-on experience working with large data sets, relational databases, data integration and related technologies (SQL, Databricks)
- Expert knowledge of Python with focus on machine learning and data science related libraries.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming is a plus.
- Experience with software development, preferably for cloud-based application in an agile setup.
- Comfortable working in highly complex environment with multiple stakeholders and with strong pressure to deliver on time and on budget.
- A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with supply chain process (Good to have)
