## *Job Summary*
We are looking for a highly skilled *Senior AWS DevOps Engineer* to join our team and drive the automation, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with *AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and security best practices*. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize cloud-based applications, streamline deployments, and ensure high availability.

## *Key Responsibilities*
### *Cloud Infrastructure & Automation*
- Design, implement, and manage *highly scalable, available, and secure* AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain *Infrastructure as Code (IaC)* using tools like *Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK*.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using *Ansible, Chef, or Puppet*.
- Optimize *cost management, monitoring, and performance tuning* of AWS services.
### *CI/CD & Deployment*
- Build, maintain, and improve *CI/CD pipelines* using *Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline*.
- Automate deployment processes using *Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and serverless frameworks*.
- Manage *multi-environment deployment strategies* and *blue/green, canary deployments*.
### *Security & Compliance*
- Implement *AWS security best practices*, including IAM, KMS, Security Groups, and VPC security.
- Conduct security assessments and audits using *AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub*.
- Manage secrets and credentials using *AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault*.
- Ensure compliance with *SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other security standards*.
### *Monitoring & Incident Management*
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using *CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog*.
- Implement automated incident response mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize infrastructure for *high availability and disaster recovery*.
### *Collaboration & Mentorship*
- Work closely with *developers, QA, and security teams* to enhance DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in cloud architecture and automation.
- Participate in *technical discussions, architectural decisions, and process improvements*.

## *Qualifications & Skills*
### *Must-Have:*
- *6+ years of experience* in *AWS cloud infrastructure* and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of *AWS services* (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Route 53, etc.).
- Expertise in *CI/CD tools* (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline).
- Proficiency in *Terraform or CloudFormation* for infrastructure automation.
- Strong experience with *Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)*.
- Hands-on experience with *monitoring/logging tools* (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog).
- Knowledge of *networking concepts* (VPC, VPN, Route 53, NAT, Load Balancers).
- Solid understanding of *Linux systems administration* and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Experience implementing *security best practices and compliance frameworks*.
### *Nice-to-Have:*
- AWS Certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Security Specialty).
- Experience with *serverless technologies* (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
- Experience with *FinOps and cost optimization* in AWS.
- Background in *SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)*.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,076.65 - RM12,000.00 per month
