- Auditing all areas of the hotel in production and admin areas, observing any unsafe behaviour or weakness in compliance to relevant regulations
- Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
- Creating analytical reports of safety data, creating / collecting data product sheets, risk assessments and ensuring these are kept up to date.
- Inspecting hotel equipment and processes to make sure they are safe
- Compiling and notifying GM of equipment OSHA relations defects for repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment.
- Focusing on prevention of OSHA related lapses of safety by maintaining observation of equipment preventive maintenance and maintenance, and relevant employee training
- Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or training sessions on various OSHA related training needs.
- Participating in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques
- Determine and establish all hotel procedures and process are safe for employees, guests and customer
- Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with Management to create consistency in safety standards throughout the Hotel.
- Attending and working to meet Hotel OSHA goals.
- Investigating causes of incidents, accidents and other unsafe conditions within the hotel.
- Liaising with Security Manager, witnesses and other HOD’s who are present at the time of a serious accident
- Finding the best way to prevent future accidents.
- Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with OSHA and hotel health and safety rules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM2,850.00 per month
