  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

SOC Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

a. Security Infrastructure Development: Designing, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure. Configure and maintain security devices such as

firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM platforms.

Examples: "Configure firewall rules to block malicious traffic," "Deploy and manage intrusion detection sensors," "Integrate security tools with the SIEM platform."

b. Automation & Integration: Develop scripts to automate security tasks such as log collection, alert correlation, and incident response.

Examples: "Write a script to automate the collection of security logs from various sources," "Develop a playbook to automate the response to phishing emails," "Integrate threat intelligence feeds with security tools."

c. Platform Engineering: Working with cloud platforms or on-premises infrastructure. Manage and secure cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on- premises infrastructure.

Examples: "Secure cloud workloads using security best practices," "Implement access control policies in the cloud," "Monitor cloud logs for security events."

d. Tool Management: Managing and maintaining security tools and platforms.

e. Vulnerability Management: Contributing to vulnerability scanning and remediation.

f. 24/7 Support (as needed): Providing occasional support for infrastructure-related issues during off-hours.

Required Skills:

a. Strong understanding of security engineering principles.

b. Experience with a variety of security tools and technologies.

c. Proficiency in scripting languages.

d. Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure.

e. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

f. Ability to provide occasional off-hours support.
