PURPOSE
- Responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of the Group Investment Data Repository (IDR), identifying and implementing new requirements to maintain the integrity of the investment financial disclosures.
- Facilitate and execute data governance practices to ensure data quality of the IDR.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Own the execution and oversight of the key components of the IDR process, including the daily, monthly and quarterly IDR processes ensuring HFM disclosures, ECL calculations, and manual updates of investment holdings are executed timely and accurately,
- End-to-end accountability for data accuracy and reporting. Analyze new requirements from local Business Units (BUs) and Group Finance aligning existing IDR setups with emerging needs.
- Recommend process or automation solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead the gap analysis and manage system enhancements, ensuring successful implementation of business requirements and post-implementation support. Execute functional testing of requirements for delivery of business solutions, including UAT script development, and execution.
- Provide solutions for data quality issues in the IDR and implement and executing data validation checks and controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the IDR.
- Perform reconciliation and monitoring of various investment accounting processes between IDR, Clearwater, and Funnelweb.
- Document all standard operating procedures related to IDR and its processes.
- Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in processes and requirements.
- Handle audit process and internal controls testing related to the IDR.
- Assist in supervising junior team members, providing guidance and support during key processes like IDR maintenance and testing.
- Responsible for strategic projects related to data quality improvements and system enhancements in the IDR.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Monthly & Quarterly IDR close completed within group defined SLAs time horizons.
- Group-wide IDR support completed to agreed SLAs.
- Able to prioritize tasks and demonstrate ability to work with details.
- Support other team members for completion of ad-hoc requests, special projects, and other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Information System or related fields.
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst is required.
- 5+ years of working experience in a business analyst role is required.
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Business Knowledge
- Knowledge of investment products including both accounting and investment characteristics is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Investment Accounting/Reporting concepts is an advantage.
- Business Analysis skills to translate business requirements into functional specifications is required.
Technical Skills
- Analytical and data governance skills is preferrable.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Oracle Accounting Software.
