Job Summary:

The E&I Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrical and instrumentation projects from initiation through to completion. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing projects to meet the specified requirements within the agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in E&I, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
  • Define project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
  • Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to track progress and address issues.
  • Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
  • Budget and Cost Control:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure that projects are completed within the approved budget.
  • Quality Assurance and Control:
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage the resolution of any quality-related issues.
  • Communication and Reporting:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and final project documentation.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
  • Ensure that all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the project team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

License/Certification:
