Responsibilities:

  • The Material Specialist Expeditor must be available on-site when needed.
  • Having knowledge of purchasing, inspection, and expediting, as well as fabrication methods for various equipment in the oil and gas industry.
  • Must understand technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing codes.
  • Able to track production schedules and assess a vendor’s capacity to deliver on time.
  • Monitor and follow up on deliveries through calls, emails, and visits to vendors based on delivery schedules.
  • Review and track delivery schedules and relevant documents to ensure vendors deliver materials or equipment on time as required by the company. Any potential delays or issues must be reported to the company, along with recommended solutions.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency of expediting services.
  • Coordinate and remind vendors to ensure timely material deliveries, preventing disruptions to operations.
  • Handle and upload necessary documents in Web PILS, such as customs forms and shipping documents.
  • Ensure that deliveries include all required documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and safety data sheets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in expediting, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Office applications.
