Quality Engineer || Semi Conductor || Pasir Gudang

Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process, overseeing the quality of products, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions. This role also required using various quality tools and methodologies to monitor processes and ensure compliance with industry standards, particularly within the manufacturing or semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits throughout the production process to detect and resolve any defects or non-conformities.
• Use quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis to monitor and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, and supply chain) to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support the development and implementation of new quality processes, standards, and improvements within the manufacturing operations.
• Perform product testing, inspections, and validation in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on QAQC in the manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with quality tools, such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
• Proven experience in conducting audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions to ensure product quality.
• Strong communication in Mandarin and English, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams across different departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
