Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing technical drawings, responding to client feedback, and overseeing the execution of electrical projects, particularly in the field of water treatment plants. The position also involves providing expert advice and support across various phases of projects, ensuring that electrical systems are designed and implemented efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project specifications to ensure electrical equipment meets contract requirements.

Prepare and approve electrical deliverables such as wiring diagrams, equipment lists, and data sheets.

Create material requests and evaluate bids for electrical equipment and systems.

Develop engineering standards and procedures for electrical design activities.

Monitor project costs and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Attend technical meetings and respond to client feedback.

Support plant start-up activities and provide on-site troubleshooting assistance for electrical systems.

Offer technical support and provide estimates to the sales team for electrical components.

Advise engineers and Project Managers on electrical system design and project implementation.

Ensure all work follows company health and safety guidelines.

Perform electrical engineering tasks related to water treatment plant systems, including electrical system design and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements:

Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.

At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with exposure to water treatment plants or similar industries.

Strong knowledge of electrical design, reviewing technical drawings, and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of electrical systems for water treatment plants is preferred.

Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).

Salary Range:

MYR 2,500 - 4,000 per month.
