  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Purpose:

Perform software development and support of the Banking System.

Job Description

This role encompasses:

  • Perform web development & J2EE software development of the Banking System.
  • Analyze changes and impacts on existing systems.
  • Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
  • Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
  • Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.
  • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare test scenarios and conduct unit test / system test.
  • Conduct code review for each release.
  • Ensure test accuracy and completeness for a problem free-implementation.
  • Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation and production system support are in accordance with the Group’s standards.
  • Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners.
  • Provide guidance and coach junior developers on their development work.
  • Good interpersonal, persuasion, leadership and ability to drive work progress.
  • Able to relate to business requirements and understand business drivers and imperatives.

Requirements:

  • 4 years - Worked extensively in the system software development
  • 2 years - Experience in web development framework (i.e. Angular, REACT, Bootstrap, HTML5)
  • 4 years - Experience in open platform technologies (i.e. Java, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, EJB, RESTful API, Spring MVC and Web Service).
  • 3 years - Good understanding of the SDLC.
  • 3 years - Experience in leading a small work team
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of banking system is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile methodology is a plus
  • Analytical and systematic thinking and methodical organization.
  • Focused and willing to take on responsibilities and challenges.
  • Independent, proactive and service oriented.
  • Pleasant personality and able to work as a team player.
  • Knowledge of different language will be an advantage.
  • Experience in a multinational environment and dealing with multi-countries’ users is desirable but not prerequisite.
  • Knowledge of JBOSS, IBM Websphere MQ, JSON, XML, MSSQL and Jasper Report is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM17,000.00 per month
