Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive with a solid foundation in audit (minimum 3 years in an audit firm) and 2-3 years of commercial accounting experience. The ideal candidate will take the lead in managing financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations while reporting directly to the Head of Finance & Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS) and tax regulations.
  • Manage financial audits, liaising with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business operations.
  • Supervise and guide junior finance team members in daily operations.
  • Review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and business strategy alignment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 years of audit experience in a mid-sized audit firm is a must.
  • 2-3 years of commercial experience in an accounting role preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills, leadership qualities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
