Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Warehouse and ground handling team core task is to ensure the operation process for import and export runs smoothly as per schedule.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a load planner to plan the schedule for retrieval of import shipments and submission of export shipments in terminal.
  • Assist in tracking, recording, and preparing reports to ensure shipment movement are properly documented.
  • Update export flight departure and any exceptional event such as cargo offload, flight cancel in the system.
  • Perform inspection of export shipments before submission to terminal to ensure shipment meet the export regulations.
  • Act as the contact point for any new system implementation
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely during shipment processing
  • Assist in preparing documentation of export and import shipments for retrieval and submission.
  • Submit terminal payment report for finance.
  • Communicate with the relevant team in ensuring shipment process in timely manner and fix any issues arise while handling the shipment.
  • Responsible for daily activities of warehouse operation including shipment loading and unloading, transferring, sorting, bagging, inventory scanning, repacking, and checkpoint scanning.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of the workstation and warehouse in accordance with 5S.
  • Maintain a safety and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standard and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Ensure all related documents are promptly returned to Warehouse for filing purpose.
  • Perform any ad hoc duty assigned by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration and Logistic or SPM
  • Experience in Warehouse and Transfer Process
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Able to work in shift & working in Public Holiday or Additional hour
  • Possess GDL / E-license will be added advantages.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be willing to work in KLIA cargo / Sepang area.
