
Senior Executive – Kechara Soup Kitchen Society
Job Summary
The Senior Executive manages daily operations, volunteer engagement, medical services, surplus food collection, provision deliveries, and Empowerment initiatives. This role ensures smooth coordination across Food Bank, Soup Kitchen, and Empowerment programs, maximizing efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Logistics
- Support and coordinate Food Bank, Soup Kitchen, and Empowerment programs.
- Supervise the operations team and ensure smooth daily activities.
- Oversee food supply, inventory (Odoo ERP), and delivery schedules.
- Track and update activities at all hubs, liaising with hub in-charges.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and availability for operations.
2. Volunteer & Medical Services
- Train, engage, and manage volunteers.
- Organize and oversee weekly medical services.
- Coordinate medical teams for static clinics, street rounds, and emergency cases.
3. Surplus Collection & Provision Delivery
- Maintain vendor partnerships at Pasar Tani & amp; Pasar Borong for surplus food collection.
- Plan pickup schedules and ensure proper food storage
- Engage and build healthy relationship with our Hypermarkets’ partners
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing transport and delivery logistics.
4. Empowerment Program
- Oversee cookies sales and preparation as part of the empowerment initiative.
- Ensure smooth production, packaging, and distribution of cookies.
- Work with the team to improve sales strategies and expand market reach.
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Track operational metrics and generate reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
6. Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
- Handle any additional tasks or urgent operational needs as required.
- Responsible for any projects or campaigns
Requirements
- Experience in operations, logistics, or nonprofit work.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo) and supply chain management is an advantage.
- Background in volunteer coordination, medical services, or surplus food collection
is a plus.
- Passion for community service and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a valid Class D driving license (manual skills handling is preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 per month
