Job Overview:

We are looking for a Mobile Apps Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. You will work closely with our product and tech teams to enhance the Kiddocare app, ensuring a smooth, reliable, and user-friendly experience for parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. App Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, test, and deploy iOS and Android mobile applications using Flutter, React Native, or native languages (Swift, Kotlin, Java).
  • Ensure smooth integration with backend systems, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and stability.
  • Regularly update the app to fix bugs, improve UI/UX, and introduce new features.

2. User Experience & Interface

  • Collaborate with the UI/UX team to implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure accessibility and seamless navigation for both parents and babysitters.
  • Conduct user testing to refine and enhance the overall experience.

3. Feature Enhancements & New Implementations

  • Work with the product team to understand business needs and develop app features that improve user engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Implement features like real-time booking, notifications, loyalty points system, location tracking, payment integration, and chat functions.

4. Security & Data Protection

  • Ensure data security and privacy compliance in accordance with Malaysia’s data protection laws.
  • Implement secure authentication, payment processing, and data encryption.

5. Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

  • Monitor crash reports, app analytics, and user feedback to identify and resolve issues.
  • Optimize app performance to handle high traffic and real-time requests.

6. Collaboration & Agile Development

  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Maintain clear documentation and best coding practices for scalability.

Key Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Flutter, React Native, or native mobile development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Firebase, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment on Google Play Store & App Store.
  • Knowledge of push notifications, real-time chat, and location-based services.

Soft Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in mobile app development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in performance optimization and debugging.
  • Passion for building products that impact families and childcare services.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Machine Learning or AI for recommendation engines.
  • Background in childcare, on-demand service platforms, or marketplace apps.
  • Knowledge of Malaysia’s digital payment and e-wallet integrations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
