Job Purpose:
Lead and execute land and property-related business development strategies to unlock value, drive strategic investments, and identify high-yielding opportunities in property and land ventures including acquisitions, partnerships, divestments, and asset repositioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and propose land/property acquisition or development opportunities aligned with corporate objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies, P&L analysis, market assessments, and valuation exercises.
- Lead end-to-end deal structuring including SPA/JV negotiations, commercial terms, and legal documentation.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder networks including landowners, consultants, valuers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
- Drive B2G engagements for land conversion, investment facilitation, and regulatory clearances.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for investment papers and management/BOD presentation materials.
- Oversee portfolio strategy for maximizing returns from existing assets or proposed acquisitions.
- Keep abreast of real estate trends, policy shifts, and economic indicators impacting land/property development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, or related fields.
- Min. 8–12 years experience in land/property development, investment analysis, or corporate real estate.
- Strong financial modelling, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Familiarity with land acquisition, JV structures, property law, regulatory compliance, and asset lifecycle management.
- Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities.
