Position Summary
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and design solutions that improve efficiency and meet their objectives. They will also be responsible for managing the AODB, including data access, security, and backups.
- Perform as solution and business process architect to strategize for implementation operating model to reflect the new ways of working in the manner that the solution operates as designed or industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients (BUs) to understand their business processes, requirements, and objectives,
- and design Business Process Management (BPM)/ Airport Operational Database (AODB) solutions that meet their needs.
- Analyzes processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze business requirements and develop effective technology solutions.
- Work with Technical Architects, DB Administrators, Data Modelers to create data and user interfaces views from multiple data sources.
- Managing database access and permissions.
- Reviewing and managing database security, integrity, and backup/archiving procedures.
- Writing SQL query to support operations database use.
- Ensuring that database meets user requirements.
- Involved in designing and testing table and columns creations.
- Involved in planning and testing disaster recovery plan.
- Devising and implementing process for resolving faults and data loss.
- Maintain the business architecture of the solution in an integrated solution environment (including third party solution) to ensure the overall business operating efficiency through embedded technology and automation.
- Drive the full utilization of invested technology for benefits and innovative use of technology to achieve business objectives in terms of operating costs, resource productivity and customer service delivery.
- Manage partners and service providers to provide quality delivery of all IT services and ensure minimal business disruptions due to IT outages by meeting all SLAs.
- Maintain the repository of all impacted processes across the whole organization and escalate for any potential discrepancy or deviation for necessary rectification or ratification in accordance with the applicable guidelines and policies.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Information, or any related Discipline in any field of study
- 7 years of working experience in Information Technology & Aviation Industry.
Area of Experience
- Business Analyst, Process Reengineering and System Development Life Cycle.
- Business Case Development, project budgeting, team management.
- Programme Management (of multiple concurrent dependent projects).
- Airport and Aviation technology and basic understanding of aviation regulations & fundamentals.
- MSSQL, Java Script
