JOB DESCRIPTION

• To ensure the correct interpretation & modelling of license position of the different software types/publishers. • Manage and handle audit performed by vendors & provide evidence of compliance position. • Giving advice and recommendations to optimize the usage of the software and reduce cost for entities and the Group. • Keep track of the license position & pool to allow validation & quick response to demand for software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support on Software Asset Management (SAM) strategic planning. • Drive the activities to determine the license position of the different software/publishers. • Analyse the software asset data, interpret and produce the license position report for the different software/ publishers. • Support & provide license position data to Management committee for the renewal of the software contracts/ agreements. • Improve license pools, allocations and license contract models/reports in the SAM License repository. • Adhere to the ITAM & SAM Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) & practices. • Identify & escalate risks & issues to ITAM Head and provide mitigation actions to address the risks/issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• In depth knowledge of IT services and IT assets especially in software asset management and enterprise solutions. • Software licensing knowledge for major publishers: Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, Adobe etc. • Practical knowledge of SAM or licenses management tools such as SCCM, Map Toolkit, Scripts, ILMT.
