The Health Safety Environment and Security (HSES) Officer shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Assisting the Head of Department to ensure compliance and enforcement of the company's health, safety, environmental, and security (HSES) rules and regulations.
- Attending and resolving any HSES-related issues.
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous situations by conducting risk assessments or job hazard analysis and enforcing preventive measures.
- Correcting unsafe conditions through the regular inspection of the work site to ensure it is hazard-free.
- Participating in planning meetings to identify health, safety, and environmental concerns inherent in the operation's daily work plan.
- Conducting investigations of all accidents/incidents and near-misses within workplace areas.
- Conducting toolbox meetings and promoting safe practices at job site.
- Verifying that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use and valid with certificate of fitness.
- Watching out for the safety of all workers and protecting them from entering hazardous situations.
- Supporting the development of HSE policies and programs.
- Conducting urine tests for newcomers / random urine tests.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
- Good working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
- At least one (1) year of related work experience is preferred; but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proactive to situations, adaptable to HSES challenges, independent, and eager for continuous learning.
- A clear and timely communicator and able to work well in a team setting.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
