Sales Engineer
Preferably LABUAN / SABAH/ SARAWAK CANDIDATES
Responsibilities
- 1. Market Targeting & Research
a. Market Segmentation:
· Conduct research to identify key market segments, industries, and potential clients that align with our company’s product/service offerings.
· Gather data on client needs, challenges, and opportunities within the target market.
b. Prospect Profiling:
· Build a database of prospects, including detailed profiles for each potential client (e.g., which OPU, their pain points, our challenges and goals).
· Ensure that each prospect is categorized based on priority and likelihood to convert into a sale.
c. Competitive Analysis:
· Monitor competitors’ activities in the market and evaluate their strategies to differentiate our product/service.
· Provide insights to the top management on how to adjust the business approach.
2. Business Plan Creation:
· Develop a detailed business plan outlining sales strategies, market opportunities, and financial goals.
· Submit the plan for approval to the top management.
3. Pitching to Clients:
· Once the business plan is approved, create tailored sales pitches for clients.
· Present product/service offerings to potential clients.
· Address client needs and objections to close sales and build long-term relationships.
4. Ongoing Client Management:
· Follow up with potential clients after the initial pitch.
· Maintain regular communication to build and nurture client relationships.
5. Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.
- Support the sales team in answering technical questions during the sales process
6. Reporting & Documentation:
- Track and document all client interactions and sales progress in a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and goals.
Candidate must possess at least:
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skill.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Sales acumen and customer-focused mindset.
- Possess own transport.

- Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Terengganu, Sabah (Kota Kinabalu & Sipitang) or Sarawak (Miri & Bintulu)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
