Role Description
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and rollout new procedures
- Evaluate, implement, and monitor SMT processes and operating systems
- Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes
- Monitors and improves efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes
- Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
- Assembles reports to document process status and changes and conducts risk assessments
- Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues
- Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
- Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
- Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- A technical degree (EE, ME, or Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing services (SMT designation)
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronic manufacturing environment
- Must be able to do analysis on all SMT process related issue
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Ability to read engineering documentation, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working experience with RoHS and no clean processes
- Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD001 workmanship criteria
- Fluent in Mandarin, English & Malay.
- Malaysian citizen.
