Role Description

  • Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
  • Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and rollout new procedures
  • Evaluate, implement, and monitor SMT processes and operating systems
  • Provides thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes
  • Monitors and improves efficiency, output, and safety of manufacturing processes
  • Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
  • Assembles reports to document process status and changes and conducts risk assessments
  • Communicate with supervisors and peers to resolve issues
  • Participate in company or special training classes with emphasis on employee improvement
  • Assesses compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
  • Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • A technical degree (EE, ME, or Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing services (SMT designation)
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in electronic manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to do analysis on all SMT process related issue
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Ability to read engineering documentation, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working experience with RoHS and no clean processes
  • Working knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD001 workmanship criteria
  • Fluent in Mandarin, English & Malay.
  • Malaysian citizen.
