Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate company sales functions.
  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
  • Direct and oversee the sales function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.
  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify sales opportunities,
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Formulating Sales Strategy to meet target market share for each product group
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Promote positive relations with distributors.
  • Evolve policy and guidelines for Sales, Credit Control and Dealer Incentive.
  • Develop specific promotional scheme based on actual product performance and implement same through close co-ordinate with Marketing.
  • Co-ordinate with Marketing to decide detailed distribution plan of products branchwise, maximise Sales and minimize inventory.
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a Degree preferably in Business or the equivalent with at least 15 years of Sales experience and at least10 years in a managerial role
  • Independent, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical and high adaptability skills
  • Awareness about Market trends, and ability to anticipate and deal with problems related to external as well as internal environment.
  • Should be a team leader with strong decision making skills.
