Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process for product development including, design, testing, manufacturing, product launch and distribution.
- Collaborate with international teams to define and support Product Data Management (PDM) /Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions, architecture, and concepts to improve engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Define business requirements, develop blueprint specifications, use-cases, and project schedules, coordinating resources with IT and business partners.
- Interface analysis within PLM end-end process.
- Analyze current PLM process to identify insufficiencies and areas of improvement.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders and development teams on software specification, development, release, distribution, and operation processes.
- Analyze, evaluate, and estimate business/user requirements, collaborating with partners and project teams to design appropriate solutions.
- Maintain PDM/PLM software components for in-house operations and provide user support.
- Contribute to improving development methods and processes within a multicultural, agile, and highly skilled team.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on PLM process.
- Completed university degree preferably in computer science or engineering with a strong focus on IT CAD/CAE, PDM/PLM, and/or ERP systems.
- Proven experience in product life-cycle management or related field
- Long-term working experience as an Administrator, Project Manager and/or Product Manager in CAD/CAE and PDM/PLM systems as well as the underlying processes.
- Profound experiences in CAD/PDM/PLM tool harmonization with regards to PLM IT system architecture, concept design, and the development of related solutions and interfaces.
- Proficiency with PLM software systems
- Good knowledge in software support and development processes, particularly in the mechanical design area of the Transformer business, with user, operation, and/or customization experiences with the systems mentioned above.
- Familiarity with product development processes in IT architecture development is ideal.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and the willingness to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Management, IT Engineering, Mechanical/High-Tech fields, or a Master's degree in relevant disciplines
- 0- 5 years of experience in digital transformation or information technology software delivery services.
- Related experience in Personal Computer or Hardware industry preferred.
- Experience in the PTC Windchill implementation is a plus.
