  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Digital Workplace Engineer – MCD/AVD/Printing Services

Job Summary:

Job Description:

  • The creation of a dedicated role in this area ensures the seamless management and optimization of Modern Client Devices (MCD), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Printing services.
  • With the removal of SWORD subcontractors, having an internal specialist will enhance service continuity, improve response times, and ensure better alignment with internal processes and compliance requirements.
  • This change will also drive cost efficiency and improve customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modern Client Deployment (MCD): Manage deployment and lifecycle of endpoints using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, SCCM).
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Management: Deploy, configure, and optimize AVD infrastructure for virtualized desktop environments.
  • Enterprise Printing Services: Manage printer configurations, print servers, and cloud printing solutions (e.g., Universal Print, Papercut).
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices for endpoint management, virtualization, and print services.
  • Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell, Terraform, or other automation tools to enhance efficiency in deployment and management.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical expertise for endpoint, virtualization, and printing-related issues.
  • Governance & Policy Enforcement: Establish and maintain device, AVD, and print service policies to ensure compliance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Endpoint & Device Management: Experience with Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Windows 10/11, and macOS management.
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), FSLogix, and Azure networking.
  • Enterprise Printing Solutions: Hands-on experience with print servers, cloud printing (Universal Print), and print management tools.
  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with Zero Trust security models, Conditional Access, and data loss prevention (DLP).
  • PowerShell & Automation: Ability to create scripts for AVD, MCD, and print service automation.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with IT, security, and end-user support teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Digital Workplace, IT Infrastructure, or Enterprise Endpoint Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Group Policy, and VDI technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices for digital workplace service management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
