Role Summary

  • Requires excellent commercial awareness and relationship-building skills with internal and external guests.
  • Responsible for directing and leading daily operations.
  • Assists the General Manager in business development and operations.
  • Provides relationship-oriented leadership.
  • Highlights issues to the General Manager and helps formulate solutions.
  • Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement annual and medium-term strategies.
  • Leads projects and objectives to achieve profitability and business growth.
  • Oversees Housekeeping, Engineering/Maintenance, and Security & Safety departments.

Position Specification / Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
  • Preferably from a 4 or 5-star hotel/resort.
  • Experience with international hotel chains is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in hotel pre-opening planning and operations.
  • Strong understanding of local businesses and market trends.
  • Willing to relocate/work in Muar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
