  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site or online one-to-one assessment, support and counselling for the students.
  • To plan and facilitate group support / psychotherapy.
  • Manage and handle student crisis.
  • Conduct talks / workshops if the topic is relevant and within the counselling expertise.
  • Write and keep confidential counselling record
  • Create survey, analyze, and keep records for all workshops / talks
  • Manage the student disciplinary counselling in a corrective action in response to student misconduct, rule violation.
  • Produce materials such as posters, pamphlet or newsletter regarding mental health campaign.
  • Provide and update the services of your own unit on the website and related platform.
  • Be responsible to check the email under the group of [email protected]
  • Advocate the group email of Well Being & Learning Support to the IUKL community.
  • Perform all tasks that provide by Head of SMSD and IUKL management.
  • Assist or be part of the committee of SMSD/ University activities.
  • To fulfil all the tasks and KPI given by the IUKL management
  • Listen to students' concerns about academic, emotional or social problems
  • Help students process their problems and plan goals and action
  • Mediate conflict between students and faculty
  • Improve parent/faculty relationships

Requirement:

  • Must be a registered counsellor with minimum 4 years and above of successful related experience, combined with a Masters’ degree in an appropriate related discipline will be an added advantage. Able to speak Mandarin is an additional advantage.
  • Ability to keep the client details private & confidential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Proactive to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
  • Aptitude to empathize with clients and help them open up.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Counselling: 3 years (Preferred)
