
Production Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
· Production Management / Assembly
o Complete the component installation and precision assembly of camera products according to the design drawings and process flow.
o Responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of production equipment to ensure the efficient operation of the production line.
o Coordinate production resources, optimize assemble processes, and improve product quality and production efficiency.
· Testing and Quality Control
o Develop and implement a test plan for camera products, including functional testing, image quality testing, and performance evaluation.
o Perform optical, electronic, and mechanical performance testing of cameras with specialized equipment to ensure that products meet technical specifications.
o Analyze test data, identify potential problems in the production process, and formulate improvement plans in a timely manner.
· Problem feedback and resolution
o Record the problems and defects found during the test and feedback to the management department, and provide detailed test reports and steps to reproduce the problems.
o Work closely with the development team to analyze the cause of the problem, provide solutions or suggestions, and drive the solution of the problem.
· Technical support and troubleshooting
o Support the troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems in the production line, and deal with abnormal situations in the assembly and testing process in a timely manner.
o Regular maintenance and optimization of production equipment and tools to reduce downtime.
o Collaborates with R&D and quality teams to improve design and process flow and product reliability.
· Documentation and Reporting
o Documents the assembly, testing, and calibration process of the product to ensure accurate and traceable information.
o Submit test data analysis report and make suggestions for production improvement.
o Train production line operators, standardize assembly and testing operations, and reduce human error.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Optics, Graphic Imaging, Computer Science, Communication, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within the camera production or SMT / EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry.
· Proven expertise in operating and managing camera assembly, focusing, testing, and calibration equipment, as well as SMT machines, including pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, and SPI equipment.
· Strong knowledge of camera modules and whole machine testing equipment, including MTF, dynamic range, calibration, OIS, and other testing methods.
· Familiarity with camera module sensor datasheets and the ability to
design, build, and maintain testing environments.
· In-depth understanding of SMT processes, materials, and equipment.
· Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
