Summary:

To schedule, assign, supervise and assist in the up-keeping of all housekeeping operations on the floor assigned to him/her to the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance. To assist in any assignment in/within the department whenever necessary promptly.

  • To report to the office for daily assignment.
  • To allocate daily work and any special assignment to the workers. Check the daily occupancy according to maids report.
  • To check regularly the progress of each assignment and to assist if necessary so as to make sure that all assignments are completed as scheduled for each shift.
  • To conduct daily briefing to room maids. To assist them with special requests from the guests and attention to their complaint.
  • To organize special and irregular cleaning tasks. To plan and schedule work laid under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper./ Assistant Executive Housekeeper
  • To maintain all machine and utensils in good conditions.
  • To check the cleanliness and maintenance of vacant rooms according to reception's report and to check/report of the variance. The occupied and c/o rooms are cleaned on time and within standard required.
  • All corridors, stores, pantries, exit doors and cleaning equipment’s, trolley and etc.
  • To ensure that all out of order rooms to be readied and released as soon as possible.
  • To report all maintenance defects in its' correct procedures and ensure that they are rectified immediately.
  • To report immediately all missing and damaged items to the Housekeeping (Assistant & Executive Housekeeper) and Front Office.
  • To be responsible of proper stock of linen and guest supplies for his / her assigned floors. Check on the stock level.
  • To check the attendance, appearance and discipline of room maids.
  • To conduct training to room maids.
  • To help and handle lost and found items according to policies and procedures.
  • To carry out monthly inventories for guest supplies, equipment, utensils, linens and etc.
  • To ensure that all message from other shifts noted down and message for other shifts are conveyed on the log book.
  • To frequently verify that the right chemicals are used during cleaning and washing process.
  • To be demanding and critical when it comes to cleanliness quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
