Work Experience

Business Knowledge
a) Working knowledge and understanding of process in Operation (New Business, Servicing & Claims), Finance and the support systems.
b) Have General Insurance knowledge.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
a) Knowledge and practice in Software Development Lifecycle
b) Knowledge on product structure
c) IT Savvy with proficiency in MS Office applications
d) Knowledge of IT Standard Operating Procedures, development and security policies and guidelines
f) Knowledge of Life Asia systems and LA table set up

Position Objective:
1. To act as an intermediary between the Business Users and Technology by ensuring that the User Requirements from the users are complete and comprehendible.
2. To prepare the Technical Solutions in JIRA (known as Functional Specification documents in Waterfall) based on the User Requirements for the development team to provide the design and solution.
3. To ensure quality of Requirements, and Technical Solutions are aligned to minimum quality standards that will minimize rework of solution deliverables.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Senior Business Partner to lead and facilitate ongoing requirements prioritization.
2. Work with the Product/Project Manager/Sponsor/Business Users to review completeness of the business requirements.
3. Lead requirements validation activities to confirm that a solution based on the requirements would meet customer needs and achieve the business objectives.
4. Represent requirements using alternative views, such as visual analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or simulations, where appropriate.
5. Work with the Solution Architect Team to ensure that the end to end high-level solutions adhere to the company's overall direction and architecture. Obtain the signoff from the Business Partner on the high-level solutions.
6. Manage the creation and use of requirements trace information.
7. Setup JIRA base on the Business/User Requirements. Functional Specification must be clear, with diagrams, process flow, copy of screens with the required changes (if applicable).
8. Walkthrough the requirements to ensure users are clear on deliverables and Application Team are aware of the scope of deliveries for the preparation of Technical Specification.
9. Track requirements status throughout the project and manage changes to base line requirements through effective and appropriate application of change control processes and tools.
10. Work with Digital Front-end Product Manager/BSA to deliver end-to-end solution.
11. Document and log all requests using the existing tools and ensure all documents/evidence are kept/filed accordingly.
12. Prepare the SDLC checklist and ensure that all documents are attached with approval and with the designated signatures of Head of Department, Application leads, User leads and Business Partners.
13. Actively monitors and follow-up to ensure Project/Initiative is completed on schedule.
14. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in-order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
15. To provide production support, which include weekend support (if needed).

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education
a) Degree in IT related discipline
b) Degree in Business Management with IT subject
