This role requires an experienced professional to lead the Quality Assurance (QA) team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement in metal fabrication and precision machining processes.

Key Requirements

Must-Have:

 Open to candidates of all races and language backgrounds.

 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

 Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a managerial role in sheet metal or machining industries

 Prefer candidate have strong background in metal fabrication.

Good-to-Have:

 Experience with competitor companies, such as KMWE.

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent.

Skills:

o Expertise in GD&T, SPC, and quality management systems.

o Strong leadership and communication skills.

 Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Working Arrangement

 Work Schedule: 6 days per week

 Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

o Oversee the entire QA function for sheet metal fabrication and precision machining operations.

o Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) tailored to the industry.

2. Team Leadership:

o Lead and mentor QA engineers and QC inspectors to build a high-performing quality team.

o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

3. Regulatory and Customer Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100.

o Act as the primary contact for customer audits and certifications.

4. Performance Metrics:

o Establish and monitor quality performance indicators (e.g., scrap rates, first-pass yield, rework rates).

o Regularly report quality performance to senior management.

5. Process Improvement:

o Lead initiatives to enhance machining accuracy, minimize waste, and optimize sheet metal fabrication processes.

6. Supplier Quality Oversight:

o Work closely with procurement and suppliers to establish quality standards and resolve material or component issues.

KPIs:

 Reduction in customer complaints related to quality.

 Improvement in overall process efficiency and product quality.

 Number of successful audits and certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
