Position: Procurement Executive (Mandarin Speaker)
Location: Kulai, Johor
Salary: RM3,500 - RM5,000

Objective:
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components required for manufacturing operations. This role involves supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order management, and inventory monitoring. The ideal candidate will have experience in EMS or manufacturing, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain an efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize procurement costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Issue purchase orders and track their progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and work on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update procurement records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, planning, and quality control to align purchasing activities with business needs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Resolve supply chain issues, including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or EMS environment.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain management best practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (preferred for supplier communication).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in procurement processes.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
