Job Description

These tasks primarily focus on managing people, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Recruitment & Staffing:

Collaborating with department heads to draft job descriptions.

Posting job ads on multiple platforms.

Communicating with recruitment agencies.

Ensuring broad outreach to attract qualified candidates.

Screening & Interviews:

Previewing resumes and applications to short-list potential candidates.

Scheduling and coordinating interviews for candidates.

Onboarding & Induction:

Providing new hires with paperwork and tools for onboarding.

Introducing company policies, culture, and employee benefits.

Appraisals & Reviews:

Developing performance evaluation criteria.

Discussing career development, setting objectives, and tracking progress.

Maintaining employee records (personal data, job history, performance reviews).

Legal Compliance:

Ensuring the company adheres to labor laws (e.g., minimum wage, working hours, anti-discrimination).

Keeping up-to-date with changes in employment law and advising the organization.

Maintaining employee handbooks and ensuring policy compliance.

Employee Benefits & Welfare:

Managing employee insurance schemes, provident funds, and pension plans.

Ensuring timely submission of leave records and benefits claims (e.g., maternity leave, sick leave).

Educating employees on available benefits.

Payroll Administration:

Ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time (this has HR overlap, though payroll is often managed by admin teams in many companies).

Coordinating with the accounting team for payroll processing.

Tracking and managing employee leave records.

Requirement:

-Diploma or above candidate

-Welcome fresh graduate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Perai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Human Resources: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Mandarin (Preferred)
  • English (Preferred)
